Linking pages!

When you are on a page and have a button or icon (such as an email button) or even some text - underline the text or click on the picture/button/icon.  Next, look for the globe (world) with a chain link (you will find it above on the menu). Click it. Note the "look in" box at the top of the screen. Your page MIGHT show up in the main window but you may have to look elsewhere for it (usually another folder INSIDE the web). ALSO NOTE THE YELLOW ENVELOPE on the bottom right side of the screen - if you click it, all you have to do is type in your email address and if someone clicks on the item on the page, it will give them the email dialogue box.

Let's link this button to the main demo page!

I inserted the button

I clicked on the button and clicked on the "A" (Drawing menu on the bottom of page) below left to type on it

I clicked on the button again and clicked on the globe with the chain above (again, on the menu of icons at the top of the page)

THIS IS THE BOX I HAVE: YOURS WILL PROBABLY LOOK DIFFERENT!!! Note where you are looking...(this box says Look in: and the window is fpdemo)

I clicked on the page I made earlier (note the "look in" box...the page MIGHT be elsewhere)

NOTE: LOOK AT THE "TARGET FRAME" BOX ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT....IT HAS A PENCIL NEXT TO IT...CLICK THE PENCIL AND CHOOSE IF YOU WANT THE VIEWER TO GET A WHOLE PAGE, TO OPEN UP IN THE CONTENT WINDOW -THAT IS PAGE DEFAULT- OR A NEW WINDOW!!!! THAN CHOOSE OK.

Save and it is linked!
