To change the background, go to FORMAT - BACKGROUND
You can read the previous page to determine whether or not you want to use plain colors for background and text - as well as active hyperlinks and even the color of a USED hyperlink.
I like to use GIFs as a background so I will click on the little box that says "background picture" - I will next have to choose the FOLDER I am saving my pictures/backgrounds in. I will choose "BROWSE" below/next to background picture.

Note the little yellow folder (with a magnifying glass) on the bottom right of this screenshot (above the "Clip Art button" - that means to look ELSEWHERE on your computer for a folder (could even be a CD Drive etc)

I am going to click on the Nice_background.jpg and choose OK
I will need to choose OK once again - Now we have a background! Do this in EACH of the THREE Windows...the top is the banner window....the left side is the button window and the right and main window is the content window (I chose those names to remember more easily). When you finally SAVE, you will be saving FOUR (yes..... 4 ) pages! More on that later!
Go to file and SAVE AS... for this page to be saved - TRY NOT TO HAVE SPACES IN THE TITLE!!
this is what it will look like!

Note...there are three pages inside a frame (which is ALSO called a page...so...if the main page is called index then HERE is where you will make the file name: index) You will call the top horizontal border "indexbanner" ALL ONE WORD!!! NEVER use spaces for file or folder names!!!!!!!! The left page will be indexbuttons and the right side is indexcontent. This makes things easier.

Any pictures will also be saved....

Now, ALL of the pages are saved! HOME
